Jadransko Croatia

So if you read my About Me then you know that I'm Croatian. It has always been a huge part of my life. I visit my Grandparents every year. Throughout my childhood every summer consisted of airplanes and luggage then beaches and visiting distant relatives.

Croatia is abundant in stone churches, the national treasures, and ancient medieval forts and castles located from deep with in the hill side of Croatia to the coast line.So I'm going to introduce you all to a slice of Croatia other then Dubrovnik and Split.

Pag is best known for Novalja and Zurce (a huge club that has concerts and parties all night and day).

Pag is known for its tradition of excellent wine and cheese, Pag lamb, Olive Oil, and other specialties, which exclusively come from the work of our people and laborers.

Then to the north there is the island of Rab. It looks like a hot, rocky desert from the mainland, but when you drive over the crest to the interior it is pretty green. And as you drive towards town you see grand mediterranean homes and as you inch close to town you see its medieval charm located in the Old Town.

The island Krk, said to be the largest Adriatic island and has been populated since the Bronze Age and Iron Age. The island is called the “Cradle of Croatian Culture” because of its importance of cultural and historical heritage fro Croatia. It also is where the Baska tablet found holds the inscription from 1100s using Glagolitic, old Croatian alphabet.
