Find your personal style

Style reflects who you are and what you like and feel good in. You don’t have to be into fashion to have style. Every woman has the right to feel good and happy about themselves. Develop a unique style that’s all your own. Here are some points on where to start and always experiment, you might surprise yourself.

1. Discover and Explore

Browse magazines and websites (I would go to Pinterest they have everything and anything) that feature clothes you like and talk to friends whose style you admire.

2. Dress to impress…yourself

Dress for yourself as much as for someone else. It feels good to impress and be complimented but feels better to randomly walk up to a mirror and think, “Wow, I do look good”. If you feel it you show it.

3. Basic Foundation

Basics are key to any closet. They go with everything and are always in style. Basic can also mean patterns, so don’t be shy lovelies.

Basics to Have:

Bottoms

  • Black pants

  • Dark wash jeans

  • Black leggings

  • Denim shorts

  • Simple pencil skirt

Tops

  • Multiple solid t shirt colors plus white

  • Going out tops

  • Little black dress

  • Blazer

  • Winter coat

4. Shoes that Speak

Basics to Have:

  • Black/Nude Flats

  • Go anywhere Sandals

  • Booties

  • Classic Boots (Riding boots)

  • Black/Nude Heels

  • Statement Heels

  • Converse

But don’t stop here. Shoes are an easy way to take your look from work to out or casual to dressy. Invest in colors and patterns that you love and that speak to you.

5. Accessorize

Scarves can help keep our neck warm but also add that texture and pop that helps you shine. Jewelry is a great way to express your unique style. It can be affordable and easy to switch up and add into your closet. I love statement necklaces because well they’re easy and can bring up an outfit. And don’t forget about those ears. Earrings are my go to and can bring the finishing touch to any outfit.

6. A Perfect handbag

I don’t mean a single handbag is perfect instead the opposite. A handbag can be big enough to cram all your stuff into it or a cute cross body bag or a clutch to hit the town with. Whatever bag you like and how many you want is up to you.

I love the cross body bags because I don’t have to hold it. And I have a small black one for going out and a bigger one for daily use that fits al my stuff.

Hope this was useful. Go be uniquely you, lovelies.
